Workshops on
26th IEEE International Symposium on Reliable Distributed Systems
(SRDS2007 Workshops)

https://srds2007.org/info/workshops.html

Beijing, China. October 9, 2007

Two workshops will be held in conjunction with SRDS 2007. All the workshop sessions will be arranged on October 9, 2007, one day before the SRDS 2007 conference, in Beijing, China.

In this workshop we wish to bring together researchers and practitioners to share research results, practical experiences and advances in (or impediments to) the application of embedded systems for dependable systems. We encourage participation by professionals with diverse backgrounds who can contribute to advancing the technology and reflecting the latest trends and who can foster discussing the implications. The aim of the workshop is to provide a forum with interesting discussions and debates. Authors will prepare the final version of their paper after the event to reflect the discussions at the workshop.

In recent years, service-oriented computing has emerged as an increasingly popular method of dealing with both the increased complexity of modern computing systems and also the increasing need to integrate such systems with other existing systems. However, whilst providing a solution to many integration problems, this service-oriented paradigm has created many new challenges in providing dependability in virtual organizations.

WODSOG seeks to provide a forum for members of the dependability, Web services, and Grid communities to come together to discuss issues faced in creating dependable service-oriented applications, and potential solutions and methods for dealing with these issues.

All the workshops will be held in Conference Centre of Beihang University, which is only 10-min walk from SRDS 2007 venue and hotel.
